Fees at Big Bear’s Treehouse

Fees
TTherapy sessions (50 minutes)
NDIS (self-managed or plan-managed): $156.12
Private-pay: $171.73 (including GST)
Reports, letters and professional communication
$80 per 30 minutes (NDIS and/or private-pay — GST applied where relevant).
Concession appointments
A limited number of concession appointments may be available in certain circumstances.
If the cost of therapy feels difficult, please reach out to discuss your circumstances. Concession appointments are considered individually and depend on availability.
Please note: Fees may be updated periodically, including in response to changes in the NDIS pricing arrangements. NDIS-funded services must meet the applicable funding and claiming requirements.
Payment Options
Payment methods
Payment is required at the time of your appointment. Payments are processed through our secure payment system, and we accept credit card, debit card and bank transfer.
Invoices can be provided where required for plan-managed NDIS participants, approved funding bodies or third-party arrangements.
Private health insurance
Big Bear's Treehouse is recognised by Medibank, Bupa, HCF, ahm and participating Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG) health funds.
Rebates depend on your individual policy, extras cover and eligibility. Please confirm your benefits directly with your insurer before attending.
Government-funded counselling
Big Bear's Treehouse is approved to provide counselling through the NSW Victims Support Scheme for eligible clients.
Counselling may also be funded through Victim Assist Queensland, subject to individual eligibility and approval of expenses.
NDIS
Services are available to eligible self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants where counselling aligns with their plan and funding arrangements.

Cancellation Policy
To support continuity of care and ensure appointment availability for all families, we ask that at least 24 hours' notice be provided for cancellations or rescheduling.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur the full session fee, as the appointment time has been reserved specifically for you.
If unexpected circumstances arise, please contact us as soon as possible. We understand that life with children and families can be unpredictable.
For NDIS-funded appointments, cancellation charges are subject to the applicable NDIS pricing and claiming rules.
