Fees at Big Bear’s Treehouse
We aim to keep our fees transparent and predictable so families and carers can plan with confidence. If you’re unsure which option applies to you, please reach out, we’re happy to guide you.
Fees
Therapy sessions (50 minutes):
NDIS (plan-managed / self-managed): $156.12
Private-pay: $171.73 (incl. GST)
Reports, letters, and professional communication:
$80 per 30 minutes (NDIS and/or private-pay — GST applied where relevant)
Big Bear’s Treehouse is a private practice and does not offer Medicare-rebated sessions. This allows therapy to remain flexible, relational and tailored to each child or family’s needs.
Please note: Fees may be updated in line with NDIS price guide changes. NDIS session rates are set in line with the NDIS price guide. Private-pay sessions include GST where applicable.
Concession appointments
A limited number of concession appointments may be available in certain circumstances.
If the cost of therapy feels difficult, please feel welcome to reach out and have a conversation. Sometimes families assume support will be out of reach when there may be options available.
Concession appointments are discussed individually and depend on availability.
Payment Options
We currently support NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed.
Payment is required at the time of appointment. Payments are processed at the time of your appointment via EFTPOS, debit or credit card. We also accept bank transfer, electronic funds transfer, and cash.
Invoices can be provided where required for reimbursement through funding bodies or third-party supports.
Insurance includes Bupa, Emergency Services Health, and Phoenix Health.

Cancellation Policy
To support continuity of care and ensure appointment availability for all families, we ask that at least 24 hours’ notice is provided for cancellations or rescheduling.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur the full session fee, as this time has been reserved specifically for you.
If unexpected circumstances arise, please reach out, we understand that life with children and families can be unpredictable.
